Title: Converting Step and Direction signal to CW/CCW
Post by: ardona on July 29, 2009, 08:00:53 PM
How to converting Step and direction signal to CW/CCW signal. My drive input is CW/CCW signal and mach3 output is Step/Dir.
Is there any CMOS/TTL ic converting step/dir to CW/CCW?

i can do with uController but i'm looking for simple IC in CMOS or TTL level

Please Help

Go to Config->Ports&Pins->SpindleSetup.  In the top-left corner, you can define a CW output pin and a CCW output pin.

Thanks Peter, it's work well, now i am trying converting the signal to 24 volt for input to servo which speed is enough up to 200Khz (safety factor 4x)

Good to hear. What are the specs for the input to your sevo drives? Are they opto diode inputs? what current is required?

Servo is Fuji Faldic 750Watt, input is optoisolated, 40mA max needed.
