Title: The TOWERS of HANOI revisited.
Post by: Tweakie.CNC on July 27, 2009, 12:57:51 PM
Don't ask why - lets just say that I should not make any bets after downing a modicum or two of ale.

Hi Sam,

It's a solenoid operated air bleed valve which destroys the vacuum in the pick up nozzle to drop the part when required (the ROC-R pump runs continuously). The solenoid is powered from the spindle supply (via a transformer) and controlled by the M3 and M5 commands in the GCode program.

Silly really, but keep on Boogie Boogie Boogie.  ;D

Brilliant suggestion Glenn but I think I will pass on this one and leave it for someone else to do.  ;D

How about a game of chess, and the machine never wins?  :)

But wouldn't it be the machine playing the machine so it has to always win (one way or another), doesn't it ?

All i can say it that the machine always wins on my end.
And it lets me make the same bad part over and over.
Wonder if it's trying to tell me something?    ???

At least you have accurate repeatability which says a lot for the quality of your machine.  ;D
