Title: controller help

ive been setting my conroller to run with mach.i posted a few days ago about steps per unit and hood answered my question(THANKS).i had left out that it is a microstepping conroller but im confused if it is 10 steps or not,ive looked at the info on the sheet and is says 1\2 1\4 1\8 and 1\16 step dip switch on board can anyone explain what this means,the conroller is a 3axis  from marchandice cnc.thanks

Suggest you set it to 1/8 step which is 8 microsteps so your calcs for steps per would be (200 x 8 )/ 5 = 320 steps per mm.
