Have you done any seraching yourself??

Yes,
No hits on searching name, model number
Tried directory assistance for the listed city.
Thought someone might be using this drive and read the message.
Nice looking drive if I could just wire it up.

cowpoke, one of those units sold recently on eBay, NIB. You could email the seller, and ask him to ask the buyer to contact you (that way the buyer has no unnecessary exposure) and offer to pay for a photocopy of the docs. It is something I've done in the past, successfully.

Hi Randy,
Thanks for the tip but that buyer was me. Had no idea at the time this would turn into something so difficult.
Surely someone out there has some of these units.

Oh, sorry cowpoke. :( If you knew the address of the ex-company's website, you might find useful documentation through http://www.archive.org (http://www.archive.org) as long as the files aren't bigger than 4 or 5 megs.
I wonder if DCI was the acutal manufacturer or an integrator/distributor? Is the main PCB marked with another name by any chance?
