Title: Proximity sensors

Hi All,

Today I got a bag of proximity sensors, all new from the scrap yard for a few pounds. These are PNP normally open ones. I have a cambell breakout board which was designed to use NPN sensors. Anyone know if there is a way I can use them with this board?

Haydn, you could use some tiny reed relays and have the prox switches control the relays and the relays control your logic. Also, you may be able to use some transistors in the same fashion.

Thanks for that, thats not in the manual version I have. Will give it a go.
