Title: SoundLogic XML does not work
Post by: Robhi on February 08, 2009, 12:26:07 PM
HI every body,

I have a problem when the first time I tried to use the Sound LogicXML folder with Mach3.

I Would like to use it in order to set the values of the homes switches. I guess they are not easy to do them.

When I use the Sound Loginc XML in Mach3 all the parameters (values) are set to 0.
Do I did something wrong?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions

you will need to place the xml in the Mach3 folder, then use the  Mach3 Loader and choose to load the SoundLogic profile. You could make a shortcut to that profile if you sished on your desktop by renaming the profile name in the shortcuts target.

Hi,
Thanks for replaying,

that is what I exactly did. I put the Sound LogicXML file in mach3 folder, and chose it when opening mach3. but , once mach3 is open, all the values are 0, even motors are not checked. nothing checked.

i would like to do so, in order to set my home switches. I have home switches, normally closed, but when they are opened, nothing happend, there is no notice that they are touched, mach3 goes on ..etc..I dona know why..
Any help please?
thanks in advance

I have just downloaded the xml from campbelldesigns website and its showing all the limits fine. Maybe try downloading again and unzipping to the Mach3 folder and opening again. If not then you should be able to set it up manually.
