Post by: rceebuilder on July 21, 2006, 11:45:24 PM

I would like to built a cardboard  cutter . It will work as vinyl cutter but I should add  a  fourth axis to turn the  blade  into the cutting direction. But I don't know how to arrange the A-axis to do turning job. Is there any cam program capable of doing  this  kind of job.
your help is needed. ???

Use the tangential knife feature, not sure where it is in Mach3 mill righ now, but it's there. it will drive a fourth axis for just that purpose.
