Title: cannot get motors to turn on
Post by: louisc on January 23, 2009, 01:42:06 PM
Hello.

First time startup on this build. I used a hobbycncpro board and all tested perfect for voltage/amp readouts before I wired it into the 3 axis 425 oz steppers. I setup mach3 config and ran a test program to see if the motors would turn on. I can see mach three running but the motors are acting like they have no power to them at all.

I have read everything I could find but all configs look correct. Could someone tell by my xml file if my configs are ok?

Thanks

Louis

Not familiar with the HobbyCNC drives but from what I see your xml looks fine. Have you run the driver test to see if it is ok? Also check on the Diagnostics screen and see if there is a pulse frequency.
