Title: Gecko 201 Disable?
Post by: Robhi on January 01, 2009, 01:52:50 PM
Hi everybody,

happy new year to all of you.

I would like to know the function of disable in Gecko 201, Could I leave it alone and not connect it to any other wire?
What it is the advantage if I connect it (use it) and how could I use it?

thanks you and happy new year again.

Robhi :)

I know you dont need it as I never had it wired when I had G201's. I have G202's now with the same wiring but on them the disable pin says NC (No Contact I presume)

I would imagine the disable on the G201 would be so you could manually disable them from putting out any step pulses if you wished.
