Title: License not activated?

I have discovered, I think, why my router runs for a few minutes and then stops....since it stops on Gcode line #499, and since everything after that is repeated, I suspect that my license has not been activated. I went through the normal set up procedure when I got my license, so can one of the moderators let me know what I should do now? Also, I have spent several weeks getting my settings dialed in -- can my license be activated w/out losing them?

Go to the Help menu then About Mach.... a window will pop up and if its licenced it will have your name (or the name your licence is) if its not it will say Demo.
 All you do to licence is place the Mach1Lic.dat file that you received by email and place it in the Mach3 folder on your drive, next time you start Mach it should be licenced.

Thanks again, Hood....that fixed it. Is there a limit to the amount of Gcode you can load? Also, I think I may have the step over concept backwards. If you set the step over for 5%, does that mean you are cutting 95% new material with each pass?

The code will load I think, not 100% sure as I have always had a licence, but Mach will stop at line 500.
 By stepover are you meaning in your CAM, if so then I am not really sure a I have not used V-Carve. Usually however if you step over 5% it will just step over 5% of the cutters dia so if it was a 20mm dia cutter you would only cut an extra 1mm on each step over.

Yeah, I have the step over set backwards, which should speed things up immensely. By the limit amount of Gcode, I meant is there a limit with the license activated? Mine is now, and I ran about 16000 lines last night, which is about 10% of what I want to do. I understand that I can break it up and do it in shifts, but that complicates it.

Yep, after licencing there is still a limit, its 10 million lines if I remember correctly.
