Title: Planetar Gearheads for Automation Directr Servos
Post by: fer_mayrl on October 22, 2008, 10:44:11 AM
hello Guys,
Does anyone know a good place, (not necessarily cheap, but good performance/quality/value balance) for planetary precision gearheads? preferably ones that would fit the automation direct servo family.

low backlash is a must.

best Regards
Fernando

Not sure of the specs, but have a look at Bayside.

Thanks Brett,
I checked their drawings, but they dont seem to fit the faceplace on the automation direct servos...

seems to be a completely different standard
Thanks

Ok, went straight to the source and asked automation direct, Here is their reply:

Fernando,

The supplier listed at the link below is partnered with Automation Direct
and has our servo motor information in their system.  They should be able
to identify the proper precision planetary gearhead that's compatible with
our motors.

Please investigate the following link:

Hope this helps!
