Title: Turn-XML-Tool Table
Post by: Overloaded on July 02, 2008, 02:31:36 PM
Hello,
I had 5 tools set up in the Turn Tooltable.
Then ran a different XML to illustrate some configuration settings for Spindle control.
When I re-loaded my original XML, the Tooltable was empty......reset to all 0's.

I assumed it would be saved in the XML....should it have been ?
If not, how is it to be saved ?

Thanks,
RC

Also.....I transferred the XML from 1 PC to another with a Flash drive. Then I opened the file on the 2nd PC and the Pin assignments looked to be all out of whack. There were pins for Limits and Homes that I don't even have Enabled.
I know very little about what I was looking at though.
Could it have gottent garbled during the x-fer ?
Thanks,
RC

RC, I have never seen this personally, but I haven't had a need for the tool tables as of yet except for playing. Sounds to me like you may have saved/transfered/over written the wrong XML.  :'(

Tool3.dat in the profiles macro folder is your tooltable.
