Title: Mach2 Circular pocket question
Post by: bpmufx on April 20, 2006, 04:51:47 PM
Hi all,

I'm sure I'm a little late in this game but I noticed that the CW & CCW buttons are
in reverse in the wizzard for the Mach2 Circ pocket.

Is there a way for me to modify these? Or is it best to just post the problem?

Evan

They shouldn't be... Is your X axis reversed?

Hi Brian,

I see whats going on, the labels are misleading to me. See attachment.

I think a climb cut for a pocket is CCW
conventional cut for a pocket is CW

You are correct that the code produced corresponds with label inside of parenthesis. Just not the direction noted.
Again, I realize I'm probably not the first to see this so sorry for the repeat.

IF you would like to fix it open it up in Screen4 and change the text :)

If you do that you are going to have to send me the screen set ;)

Hey Brian,
So I got all excited to try and make the correction that when I was successful,
I thought why not try & throw in a new reset bmp. I made it, renamed it, and replaced
it with old one and it showed up fine but now it doesn't work.

So attached is the CCW, CW corrected version with included reset button bmp. If you like
it, use it. If not, OK. But you'll have to fix the reset function.

Also, I'm getting an error message when I lanch the object properties. I posted the related
topic in General discussion. It looks like the .exe file is damaged. I've dnlded a few different ways
to no avail.

Brian,

Ok, I give up, what's the proceedure for replacing a bmp? I tried to swap the reset bmp
with a different one, no work. I tried it again by changing the file name to match original,
no work.

Also I'm still getting the message show in above post, Ive got it all installed in the Mach 3

folder now. But no change. I'm not sure what the meesage means. Can you give some
insite?

Thanks

Evan

Hey Brian,

Cool! Thank you! BTW I wasn't really trying to change you wizzard other than to understand the process of using
Screen4. I thought trying to replace an element would teach me how to use it.
In the gen disc post I've posted an error message I'm getting. Can you tell me if that's why I couldn't modify the reset
button?

I use Screen 3 :) I have not had time to learn how to run Screen4... That said I think Benny is the one that knows the most about screen 4 ...

Sorry about that.
