I'm using a 3d touch probe and I'd like to use the Blum routines in MachPro. A basic setting is the probe diameter and I've been looking for ways to change that. I've not been able to find any documentation that explains how to do this in MachPro. In the Blum settings, there is a link to a folder with the Blum documentation. That led me to the O9717 file in the subroutines folder which includes settings for the probe diameter. I've also found this (https://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php?topic=49563.msg303780#msg303780) post, that mentions how access some of those settings through MachPro (a bit convoluted if I may say so). However, whether I change things in MachPro or directly in the O9717 file, nothing changes. The changes are stored as they are as I set them after a restart, but nothing changes while probing. It seems the diameter is stuck at 0. Am I missing a step here or is this feature broken?

goto the Blum Setup and help screen. Navigate to your MachPro/subroutines folder.

I did that and I can change the numbers but during actual probing nothing changes. When measuring the width of a gauge block, I'm consistently off by the ball diameter regardless of the value I enter for the relevant setting.

the blum routines definitely require some loving from the MachPro team. I find them completely unusable. Trying to find the inside diameter of a bore for example. ABS/REL you need to select for measurement, and are unavailable for adjustment. Need todo the setup first then you can switch.
