Title: License not working

Hi, due to new computer I had to download mach3 again. However when I downloaded the license which is registered to my account on the artsoft website I found that the license is not working. I have tried three times now with no joy. I have contacted mach3 support but no response yet. Has anyone else had this problem and what was the answer. Thanks

Your Mach3 licence is a file called Mach1Lic.dat - copy that file into your Mach3 folder, restart Mach3 and you will be good to go.

Hi, the problem I have is that when I download the license file from mach3 site. The file is WinLic.dat. And it will not license the software.

Hi,

The WinLic.dat license is for the Newfangled add-ons not for Mach3 itself.

Perehaps just copy the original license from your old computer ?

I wish I could copy the license over. But my old computer died. That’s the reason I am having trouble now. I have tried contacting artsoft with no joy.
If I can’t get it sorted I will bin Mach and go to centroid cnc which I use on my lathe.

What died?  Could you rescue the hard driven install it in a caddy, and transfer your files?
