Title: Problem with DRO SCreen Edit
Post by: KentCNC on July 07, 2025, 02:09:14 PM
I am having two issues with the screen editor. For one of the DROs, I cannot enter a value even though I have edit in place specified. When I enter a value, it just reverts to what the value previosuly was in the DRO. The second DRO I am have an issue with allows me to enter data, but it is not saved when I close and re-open Mach. These are both on the offsets tab. The one that I cannot edit was a DRO that was with the original screen. It is the Edge Finder Diameter. The second one that allows me to edit but not save is a DRO I created for the screen.

As far as the second DRO not saving the input.
I make a register and link the DRO to the register.
When you make the register select persistent and it will save.

Thank you . I imagine that is the problem. How can I tell if a register is already in use? Which registers are available as user-defined. I do very little Mach screen work so I have a lot to learn.
