Title: Fault code "The Demo has timed out, PLease restart"
Post by: Scottart on January 14, 2025, 04:23:15 PM
I have been running Mach 4 for 5 plus years, and today after several days  of multiple power outages, this code shows up every time I run a tool path.   does this mean I lost me licence code some how?

Yes.  Look for Mach4Lic.dat in the Licenses folder.  Power outages can corrupt the PC's file system.  The file may exist but it may be corrupt.  If you suffer lots of power outages, it may be prudent to put a UPS on the control PC.

Also, some metric that is used to generate the PCID may have changed coincidentally with the power outages.  Maybe you changed some system setting that affected it, etc...  In that case, contact support, send them your old Mach4Lic.dat and your PCID from then Help -> About dialog and request a new license that matches your PCID.
