Hi, I hope someone can help. My CNC works well but on occasions the A axis which is slaved to the X axis stalls when homing. This causes the gantry to twist and if I don't monitor the homing action, the machine would destroy itself. If I stop the action and then restart the Homing, most times the homing carries out correctly. Can any one suggest a reason why this is happening?

One reason this can happen is that the Home or Limit switch or its wiring (on the stalled axis) has picked up some electrical noise and Mach thinks this axis has already reached its Home position.
Tweakie.
