Title: Movingto Mach 4 from UCCNC
Post by: DavidR8 on November 19, 2024, 06:30:59 PM
Hi folks, I'm currently using UCCNCand an AXBB-E board to run my PrintNC CNC router. Generally the software is just OK, documentation is so-so and vendor support is a bit lacking.
I understand that Mach 4 will run on the AXBB-E board. I'm trying to get a handle on how to actually make the switch to Mach 4.
Can anyone point me in the right direction in terms of instructions etc?
Thanks!

You need to get the correct Mach4 plugin and manual from CNCDrives first.

Keep in mind that CNC Drive is not updating the plugin for Mach4, so you need to use a very old Mach4 version.  You can download it from here:

Well that's disappointing.
Does the same apply to all their controller boards?
