Title: Help needed - g-code goes adrift during the program??
Post by: Jimvuy on November 08, 2024, 03:54:56 PM
I am having issues to run cutting paths.
I am using toolpaths created in Vectric Cut2D, and all looks good.
The G-Code loads into Mach3 fine.
When I start to run all looks good for some time and then the path takes its own direction !
It appears to stop advancing correctly in Y, and runs out of sequence in coordinates

This has happened in two different projects.
I have attached one of the problem toolpaths, if someone can understand why it is failing. Or is it a machine issue?
Any help is appreciated

Make sure everything is tight on the y axis. Check the motor mount, coupling, ball nut. Everything.
