I have Mach 4 - hobbies, C82 - Dual Port Multifunction Board - Torch height control – PlasmaSensOut
The signals for HC are coming to me and I can see them on the screen, but the Z axis does not respond to them. Even if I have the HC switched to manual control, the Z axis does not respond.
Can someone help me?
I am sending my settings

You can follow these instructions and files:

Thank you for your reply. I tried according to this instruction, but nothing changed. In the green frame are the settings that I have exactly according to the instructions. I don't have a touch probe, so I didn't do the other settings because I assumed it was related to the probe.

What is the problem? Do you see actions on the signals when you go into test mode to simulate the cutting action? Follow the signals from the LEDs and outputs of the plasmasense, to the terminals of the C82, LEDs, Smooth Stepper diagnostics, Mach4 functions, etc...
Understand where you are losing it.

I see on the screen, in the picture in the attachment, that UP or DOWN lights up, it means that I have not lost the signals, but they are going to my system, but the Z axis does not react to it, it does not move even if I switch the HC to manual mode, so the Z axis does not move.

- Are you sure the Z axis moves ok when commanded via gcode?
- Are you sure Mach4 is properly licensed?

at the beginning I set the Z height as 0. when I run the G code, the z axis moves up and down the moment it starts burning and the moment it stops burning. So z os moves on the basis of G code. As for the license. I have a hobby license. When I didn't have it, mach 4 let me go, I mean max 50 lines of g code, now after entering the license - hobby I have no restrictions.

I am not sure what to tell you. If Mach4 is licensed and THC is enabled and you do see the ARC OK and UP and DOWN signals, the Z axis should adjust accordingly. You should be able to validate this in test mode.
Other thoughts are:
- Try other Mach4 versions, make sure that you use the matching ESS plugin, use the one on the link that I sent you.
- If the problem continues, open a ticket in out website and we will give you a hand with this: https://www.cnc4pc.com/contact
