Title: Mach4 visual anomoly
Post by: Rimmel on August 28, 2024, 07:19:26 AM
A button shape just started showing up randomly on the screen of the Mach4 screen (happen on a miller and lathe). It vanishes if you move the mouse over it...

A little annoying - anyone know why- how to get rid of it??

thanks

access the screen editor.. it can only be selected when Mach4 is in the disabled state... now you should be able to click the area where the button appears and this should select it...  take a look in the properties window and see if tells you what the button is.. if its nothing you want to keep right click the button and select delete. Then to close the editor, reselect SCREEN EDIT. When it asks if you want to save answer yes.. and button is deleted.   :-\

OK got the the foot of the problem. It seems on a toggle button it adds 2 sometimes instead of one. It adds a second one without label text. This then causes it to vanish and reappear randomly. I went through all the buttons and found the one without label text and added text to it. It would then stay when the mouse was over it. Allowing me to delete it.

thanks for the help
