Title: Mach 4, Pokeys and a VFD - spindle control issue
Post by: fish.norling@gmail.om on December 24, 2023, 12:29:47 PM
Hi All,

I am having trouble with spindle control using CNC57 pokeys, Mach 4 and an Allen Bradley VFD.

Here is what I get;

Call for 500 RPM, get 665
Call for 1000 RPM get 783
Call for 1500 RPM get 905

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dave

Have you set the speed range in the pulley screen, mach uses this to work out the 0-10v range.

I have not but wondered about it as I have seen the screen in Mach 4,  Thank you!  Are you aware of any print material to guide me in this process?

Its just a case of selecting the pulley and entering the 0 for min speed and enter what ever you max is for the spindle, if you check the Help menu you can open the documents
