Title: Mach 3 Mill no GoTo Zero
Post by: sparkinho on November 14, 2023, 01:27:47 PM
my jog works normal all axles, when I weigh the zero or squeegee a gcode no motor works they all lock (it tries to go but they won't keep vibrating the axle) and don't rotate

Mechanical issues like binding in the axes or excessive friction can cause motors to stall when under heavier load. Check for any obstructions, tight belts, or misaligned components on the carriages and guide rails. Lubricate moving parts if needed.

Sounds like your motors are getting stuck when under load or when running a G-code. Might be a current setting, firmware, or wiring issue. Check motor drivers, firmware configs, and make sure your G-code isn’t sending invalid moves.
