Title: Jogging direction

I having brain fade! The table direction is confusing me.

On my Bridgeport style mill. We’re the table moves.

When I press the  X+ jog button which way does the vice on my table move? Mine moves to the left.

When I press the y+ jog button my vise moves out towards me. Is this correct?

Hi John,

That is correct. The jog buttons control the direction the tool moves in relation to the workpiece.
