Title: uc400eth fitted now motors judder
Post by: Trevean on September 12, 2023, 06:00:53 AM
Just upgrade my cnc plasma cutter with a uc400eth from parallel ports BOBs etc. The problem I am having now is the X and Y axis judder when cutting. Still cuts the correct size etc but due to the judders the cut is now slightly serrated, and not good for the machine. Window 7, latest driver for the uc400. Mach3 up todate and of course licenced. All working fine before upgrade.
Any ideas, help etc gratefully received.
Steve

Are you perhaps running in Exact Stop mode rather than Constant Velocity mode ?

You sir are a steely eyed cnc man. Although it was in CV mode under the CV control check boxes Stop CV on angles was set to 0!
Many thanks for your help
