Title: LazyCam 2.58 Arc End Rapids
Post by: Chip on November 02, 2007, 12:08:19 AM
Hi. Art & Brian

Looks Like the fix is in for the Arc's turning to circle's.

As for the Arc's Rapids changing End's when moved, There's a little more work to be done, It's almost there.

1 Lset file below.

Thanks, Chip

Hi Chip:

Thats actually normal, as the arrow shows, its being told to move in that direction, so it woudl do only a very short move, then have to go back to the beginning, youd have to reverse direction with climkb milling to get the rapids back to the other side.. I did fixx the others, Ill add a check to see if we can do something with that as well to make it automatic..

Thanks. Art & Brian

Looks like I may have jumped the gun a little, Worked on it for awhile though yesterday.

The default back to "Outside Right" was giving me a real bad time.

The "Ill add a check to see if we can do something with that as well to make it automatic..", Would be Nice !!

If LazyCam could open up in Auto Lead Configuration or stay in the same lead-in configuration you set after open-up and not default back to "Outside Right" every time, Would Help !!.

Thanks Again for these Great Programs, Chip

Hi. Art & Brian

Is there a current list of Post options for Lathe, Mill and Plasma, or a list for the Default Post.

Thanks, Chip

Hi. Art & Brian

This is what I have been trying to do, Use a DXF and LC's lathe post only to generate a lathe g-code file.

It's working now, Thanks to the fixes in Arc end points.

Hi. Art & Brian

What I was thinking a 90 deg offset that starts at Origin Marker bottom right for inside cut's and top right for outside cut's, Origin Marker being your 0,0 start point, Using cutter\tool width as normal.

Until Lathe has a Chance to Mature
