Title: Linear Scale RS 422

Hello,
I need linear scales for the IP/A, do I need the RS 422 assignment for this? As far as I can see, only RS 422 has A B I and A- B- I - all others only have A B I.

OK. Only RS422 work with the IPA

Hello,
can it be that the IP/A only works with connected encoders or linear scales? If I only connect the servos with the analog signal, the motors don't move and I get a speed error message in the Simcnc software.

Hi rene,

this forum is for Mach3 and Mach4 controlled machines, Simcnc is a CS-Labs product so no support here.
