Title: HELP FOR THE NEWBIE!!!!!

So I just bought this cnc router machine (home built I think) and it is running Mach3 software on Windows 7 Pro........I opened Mach 3 the first time just to look at it, then closed it. Now. 2 weeks later I finally have time to sit down and learn the software and when I open the mach 3 software it immediately puts the computer into "power saving mode" and goes right away to windows safe mode startup screen.........Any ideas? I am not computer dumb entirely, and didn't do anything or make any changes to settings to warrant this. HELP!!!!! I have 2 days to learn this before I have to go back to work and I'm freaking out.

Is the version of mach 3 you have licensed? You might have a virus on the pc. usually what happens is someone uses a illegal copy and that is where viruses come from. once you open mach3 let it go into safe mode and see if it licensed.
