Good day.
If I have a work piece and set the x,y,z to zero.
Mach4 has the button to go to x,y to zero.
how can I do this to the z as well and later on put a button to use the command.

Both will take a little minor programming.
If you are talking about the button that says "Go To Work Zero" it has two choices for movement.
One includes the Z to zero but is commented out.
I can direct you on how to do it but you will have to do it.
Here is something I made when I was trying to learn how the programming is done.
