Title: Z Probe not working correctly

Hi All hoping someone can help.
I have a issue with probing not working correctly I'm using Mach4 ver 4612 with ESS ver 275 .
When I use G31 to probe the job surface everything seems to work correctly till it ends then when asked to return to G53 Z0 it moves towards the table instead of up why??  I have spent days trying to sort this out but to no avail, has anyone else had this problem ? any assistances would be much appreciated

G53 Z0  drives to the origin in machine coordinates IIRC.  Is that where Z0 is homed to?
