Title: Mach 4 inputs and macros

I have some pneumatic cylinders that I am using for easy material locating. I would like to connect the sensors on these cylinders to Mach in such a way that at the beginning of any program there would be a check to see if the cylinders are retracted before allowing the machine to progress.

Is this something that is possible simply through macros?

sure its exactly macro uses
you just must put in yours pp that M  function on program header
