I am using a AVID CNC to flatten wood slabs. I use the keyboard arrow keys to verify the high spots to identify where my Z will home at.
This is slow and I have seen discussion of using a Joy Stick controler to quickly move the cutter where you want it before starting a script.
Can something like this work?

Any recomendations?
Thanks

Certainly with Mach3 there's a software plug in that allows the use of an xbox controller which can be wired or wireless. I'm sure there must be something similar for mach 4.
