Title: Bad Character
Post by: rawcustmz on March 16, 2022, 10:50:20 AM
New to Mach 3 and using with a plasma table.  When trying to load a G- code we get this error message. We have tried multiple drawings, and drawings that were already saved in the computer with the machine. The first week we got it were able to get it to work and now this error.  Any help is appreciated.

Looks like you are trying to load a  .dxf  file into Mach3.
You should be loading a text file typically with the file extention *.tap, *.nc, *.ncc or *.txt

Someone else said that also.  But we have verified its saved as .tap in sheet cam with multiple drawings, and still get the same result.  What else could cause this?

Your first screen shot clearly shows the file loaded into Mach3 as being test1.dxf
