Title: Auto ZTouch Probe tool crashes down rather than retracting

I'm using Mach 4 on an Avid CNC with their Plug and play electronics. I'm having an issue where the spindle goes down after touching the Z probe rather than up as expected. This doesn't happen every time but once it starts it continues until the software is restarted.
1 click on "auto Z touch Probe" button
2 spindle moves down slowly until it makes contact with the probe, probe signal shows active.
3 spindle moves DOWN rapidly 1" crashing into the probe, the normal operation would be for the spindle to move up by 1"
4 Y&X behave as expected

Do you have the magnet connected with the collet? I've had the bit "crash" into the touch plate by not having the magnet connected to the collet

Error found: the tool table had data in it, this should only be used with automatic tool changers.
Solution: clear the data from the table
