Title: Mach 4 milling machine main spindel with gearbox, to change the steps

I have a milling machine with gear box for the main spindel. It has 18 steps. I would change the steps automatically.

In the G code:  M03  S100.    I need the varaible for LUA where i can find S 100?  For S100   i would go in step 1, for S 300 i would go in step 2... and soon.
