Title: ePID fault... press RESET Mach 3 CSMIO/IP-A
Post by: Ilopez on March 05, 2021, 07:47:49 AM
Hi guys, i have a client with a machine using Mach 3 with CSMIO/IP-A.
They have 3 axis with 3 servos (Delta asda-a2) and they were working for years.
They got a high voltage failure in the factorym and now the mill machine does not work.
If i disable Z Axis, X and Y move fine. when i enable Z axis, if i press reset inmediately i get the error
 ePID fault... press RESET.
They have changed the servomotor and the drive too. I can connect to the drive and i see that
the control (-10v to + 10v) is working fine. I mean, i get the signal into the drive.
I wanted to try to make a PID tuning, but i cant do it, because in the same moment that i press reset i get the error.
Any help appreciated.
PD: Im new with CSMIO and Mach 3, i have used it only in two machines.

No they do not.
This evening I have discovered that there is a problem with the servodrive.
I think the failure comes from there.
Thx anyway
