Title: Having issue with y axis and a axis not moving together.
Post by: dlang on June 14, 2020, 10:26:48 PM
Hi
Having issue when moving the y axis the A axis is moving at a different rate. On one end of the table the y and a axis are about 1/16 of an inch difference from side to side of table . Then on the other end the y axis and A axis are about 3/4 of an inch difference. Some how Im gaining steps .I switched stepper drivers and the same thing happens . Not sure what to look for . Is it possible that the stepper motor is bad . Can use any suggestion . Thanks Dan

Hi Dan,

Unlikely to be a bad stepper motor causing this behaviour. Check everything mechanical (loose set screws, tightness / binding on axis slides, etc) first.
Try reducing your velocity and acceleration settings in motor tuning by 50% saving the changes - does this make any difference to the error.
