Title: Auto Tool Zero not responding
Post by: John DeVere on May 18, 2020, 07:32:28 PM
I have purchased a Chinese CNC machine...and I love it.  The only problem is that their support and instructions are gobbledygook!

1.On the machine is a 0.59 thick moveable touch off plate with one lead back to the machine.  Is it possible to have a single lead touch plate?  I don't see another lead.
2.  I entered the script they provided for Auto Tool Zeroing.  MACH3 accepted it just fine but nothing happens when I push the Auto Zero button.  The Ports and Pins section seems to be setup correctly.

Thoughts?

If you go into the diagnostics and then touch the plate to a metal part of the machine or the tool can you see an input light
