Hello,
I have an issue with my cnc milling machine.
After +-10 seconds of jogging (X, Y or Z axes) the movements become jerky.
If I stop jogging and wait for several minutes the problem stops for +-10 seconds then start again.
I have no problems if I jog with the servodriver software, I assume it is an Csmio/IPM or a Mach4 issue.
On CSMIO/IP diagnostic window I have this message : Warning! CSMIO/IP Trajectory Buffer Underrun!
The trajectory buffer fill level jumps to 100% wen I click on « Enable ».
Can you help me solve this issue?
Here is my setup :
- Mach4 hobby 4.2.0.4300 on Windows7.
- CSMIO-IP-Plugin 3.2.4
- Delta A2 servodrives and 200w servomotors

I'm having this issue as well. There doesn't seem to be any documentation about it does there?
Im wondering if my encoder resolution is too high so ill try that tomorrow.

I got help from Cslab support.
It could be a problem with the network connection or computer performance :
Check if your network card or PC has an active power saving mode.
Also check whether anti-virus software is blocking the network connection.
In my case it was the network connection :
I desactivated the network card saving mode.
The buffer chart of CSMIO/IP diagnostic window isn't jerked anymore and the movements are smooth now.

Thanks I'll check that straight away. Im running temporarily on a laptop so yeah this
could be the case.

Ok. Success. The power saving mode was already turned off.
However I ended up re-installing the network adaptor and the problem
has practically gone. It happened once today but this proves you're right
and its not a drive.
I need to run mach on a dedicated pc, with nothing else installed, asap.

To add to this thread:
ive ditched the laptop and am now running on a Gigabyte Brix N2807.
Same issue pops up: 'trajectory buffer underrun'
Bad motor response.
Went through all the networking stuff only to find:
Running:
Mach4GUI.exe
Mach4GUIR.exe
in administrator mode fixed the problem.
