Title: Mach 4 randomly disappearing from desktop?

Anybody ever have this happen? It seems every couple of months mach just disappears from my desktop after closing. I usually have to completely reinstall it.

Hi,
that sounds like an anti-virus or malware program removing what it believes to be a bad program.

hmmm...  just confused as I am running windows ten and recall disabling all of that antivirus when installing the first time around.

If you happen to familiar with windows any tips?

Yep...take Windows outside and shoot it!!!

Quite frankly all the antivirus, firewall, anti-malware stuff is as bad as a virus. I might be appropriate for a PC on the net but is a PITA
on a machine control PC. My machine PC has Windows7 Embedded (Standard) as OS. When you install an embedded OS like Windows7
you can decide not to load anti-virus, firewall, and hey why bother with a browser and multimedia if its not ever going on the net?


This is different to just disabling anti-virus......this means there IS NO ANTIVIRUS software AT ALL.
