Title: Mach3 and Mach4 on same computer with Pokeys57cnc

is it possible to run Mach3 and Mach4 on the same computer using the Pokeys57cnc controler to controle mi router?

Hi,
I thought it would be a good idea to run Mach3 and Mach4 on the same PC with my Ethernet SmoothStepper.
What actually happened is once I started using Mach4 and realized how much leaner and cleaner it was I've never used
Mach3 since. So much so that when I accidentally lost my Mach3 lic.dat file I didn't bother trying to replace it.

they operate so similarly that it doesn't matter.

Yes you can operate Mach3 and Mach4 on the same PC with the same motion controller, a 57CNC for example.

Hi,
no, provide you set the Mach3 plugin to use exactly same pins for the same purposes as Mach4.

My contention is that once you start using Mach4 you'll soon tire of Mach3 and drop it altogether.

I to want to use mach3 and mach4 on the same computer with the same Pokeys57cnc and the same machine but if I start mach3 all the settings are screwed up , I make it to work again and then I start up mach4 and again all settings are screwed up.
Mach3 and mach4 must use the same settings ( I do not use other things as I use an other mach)
How is this possible.
I think some files are at the wrong place bud witch I do not know)
