				Hi peoples,
I recently tried running a program and the gcode loaded perfectly but the toolpath display only shows a tiny portion of it and once it reaches that point it just stops dead in the middle of my workpiece. My table coordinates are correct and I’ve tried hitting the “regen toolpath button “ but nothing happens. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong? TIA

You are perhaps in Demo mode which only runs 500 lines of Gcode. Install your license file and all will be well  ;)

Thanks for the reply, I’ve done larger projects in the past and it’s never been a problem. Is there perhaps a way of increasing the tool path ?

Does your graphics card have sufficient ram ?

-
Yes. Ive tried reinstalling the licence but it still doesn’t seem to want to go past the 500 lines of code. I really don’t know what else I can do :/

When you click Help : About Mach3,  does the Licensed To... box show your name ?

-
				Yes :)

Just a thought from a old git

There are two resent posts with the same problem long running installs that have suddenly reverted to demo mode and both posters have stated they are licensed correctly with there own name in the info field

Could this be linked to a recent windoze update

It does seeem a bit odd to me

For the record I do not use mach3 although I do have a lic. I used mach4 hobby at this time maybe a up grad to the industrial ver in the future as I do a bit of paid work

So take my comments as is I have no means of proving my theory just taking a step back and looking at the wider picture

				Hi Stuart,

I suppose it is possible that a Win update could be to blame.

I use WinXP and am immune to updates, I think I would suspect a corrupt .xml and do a complete re-install of Mach3 to see if the problem persists but, as you say, it is a strange one.
