Hi all, newbie to Mach4 here.
I'm just experimenting with CNC at the moment, and have an IP Smoothstepper connected to Mach4, I haven't brought a licence yet as I'm still in the 'messing about' phase. I'm aware of the runtime restriction.
I have the Smooth Stepper hooked up to 4 motor drivers via port 1; each seems to work fine, but only if mapped to Motor-0 in Mach, so just changing the mappings in Mach allow me to move an axis.
So my question is, is Mach4 limited to driving only a single motor while unlicensed, or have I messed up something else?
Thanks,
Stephen.

Demo mode does not restrict you to only one motor. It it highly
unlikely that you have a hardware failure that causes this type
of symptom. Look carefully at your Axis mapping and motor
configurations.

Thanks, I went back and checked the settings and found I had mapped the output pins in ESS, but not enabled them! Opps! Works like a charm now.
Cheers,
Stephen.
