Title: Mach 3 will not open

Hello,

I am using Mach 3 version 3.43.  When I attempt to open the program it loads and shows the screen set but then turns black and restarts the computer.  This machine  has worked for 7 years.

Windows 7 with current updates
1024 screen set
recently loaded Teamviewer 14

Can anyone help?

That is the problem.....recent Windows7 updates from Microsoft have caused a problem with Mach3, or more precisely
Mach's parallel port driver.

There are some recent threads about it.

It seems your choice is to un-wind the offending updates OR move to an external motion controller like a SmoothStepper or UC300.
