Title: MACH3 controlling a Chinese Laser with Step-servo control boards
Post by: pedroman on July 19, 2007, 07:44:35 PM
I have a Chinese laser (HXLASER.COM  HX6090SE) that I am possibly interested in controlling with Mach3. The configuration now runs via a step-servo control card MPC6515 which drives the stepper driver units. It works OK but the software is rather limited. You make the image in a software package like Corel, AI whatever then import into their lasercut software. Then download the file to the laser and press a button. the MPC6515 seems to have quite a bit of memory so that's OK.

Does anyone have experience with using Mach3 and a laser?   ???
