Hello,

I have just purchased a licence for mach3 and a small 3 axis cnc, mainly for engraving but also so that my son gets some experience programming. When I tried the demo version of mach3 I tried the write wizard and it seemed simply enough, enter all the information press the write button which takes you back to mach3 and a pre written programme albeit with lots of 0's in the demo version. Now I have the full version it doesn't appear to be working. I enter all the information followed by enter each time, press the write key and nothing happens.What am I doing wrong please.

Have you entered the Direction ?

If it's not working, you are missing a setting that's required. Sometimes it can be hard to see them all.

where would i post a direction, there doesn't seem to be an option. i would have thought that in english words would naturally start on the left.

ok i see it, 0 90 180 270. but still when i press write nothing happens. I know its just me and thanks for the response.

Hi, if you reset the reset button you can not generate a code.
You must enter everything you need then select the font and finally press "Write"
After pressing "return to Mach3", the Gkod will be generated
