Title: Position Loss Issue
Post by: annutara on February 10, 2017, 04:08:24 AM
hi all,

What i've done so far to drive my metric Sherline mill is to install UC100 + Mach3 on my desktop and then used the XML file for sherline metric off the ftp.machsupport.com/XMLs but when I run test code to cut a simple profile such as a square I get very bad loss of position every cycle: (http://www.cnczone.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=349188&d=1486381862)

Anybody able to help me troubleshoot this issue? I'm helpless, and have disassembled the mill a number of times to check backlash and what not...

Regards

Try reducing your Velocity and Acceleration in Motor Tuning by 50 % for your X and Y axes (saving the changes for each axis).

Does your machine still loose position ?
