Strange, Can someone explain howto inport a autocad 2007 dxf file with a futura bold text in lazycam? When i do this it says that there are no line's in it?

You will need to explode the text into line segments... that should do it :)

Ok now i have a text. Now my next question is:
How can i let only the inner cut? The text must be engraved with only one line Now it's going around the letter.

You need to use a single line font or pocket the font out.

Hello Graham,
Can you tel me how to pocket the font out?

To Pocket the text you need to have a box around the text. Select the box and tell Lcam Pro to pocket out the box and it will know that there is text in the box and pocket around it .
Hope that helps

Homecockpitbuilder,
Did you manage to packet your text.
I have been struggling to do this with the Trinity font but no success yet.

I also have been having no success with pocketing Text.
For example: when the letter "A" is dragged into a rectangle, and then pocketing is performed, the outer line of the "A" is left as an island but the inner part of the letter is also engraved. No matter how you try, the inner part cannot be separated (ungrouped?) from the outer part of the letter and pocketed on its own. The guys writing this program are doing a great job so maybe this bug can be fixed in a later revision of LC.

A way around this text pocketting problem is to use a CAD prog. to convert Text to Lines them export as DXF, then import DXF into Lazycam. Pocketting works fine then.
