Title: Mach4 Motion Controller recommendations

In the process of setting up a new CNC and intend on running Mach 4. Which windows operating system do you feel is best? Also which motion controllers would you recommend? Any other recommendation's since i'm starting fresh?

Mach4 with Ethernet Smooth Stepper motion controller and CnC4PC C62 Multifunction breakout board are working nicely for me but I don't have everything fully implemented yet.
